I design enterprise products where workflows are long, rules are many and mistakes are costly. My work goes from research and information architecture to flows, prototypes and the design system that keeps it all consistent. 8+ years across B2B SaaS, consumer electronics and brand.

Read the case studyA survey, three personas and a heuristic evaluation of the live site, turned into a concept design: search first, filters that scale to thousands of events, and a purchase you can always follow.

A dedicated tool for inflation, margins and other cost variables: defined once, applied to a whole BOM, a category of part numbers or a single element.

From three sources of truth to one: a naming taxonomy, under 30+ components, that keeps Figma, CSS and JSON saying the same thing.
Read part 1: the token taxonomyA filtering pattern for large data tables: field, operator and values, active filters grouped as chips, and room for many values without losing control.

A bank where clients choose their own financial advisor: a guided search, a questionnaire for the unsure, and profiles built for trust.

In the BOM project I rebuilt the business process first: part numbers, make or buy, cost centres. The screens came after.
An approval flow you can follow, and a purchase summary that never leaves the screen.
Ten values in one filter don’t break the bar: they collapse to “+10” and open on demand.
One name for every token, in Figma, CSS and JSON.
Enterprise UX starts long before the first screen. This is how a feature moves through my hands.
Stakeholder and client sessions, user needs, business rules and constraints.
Information architecture, user flows, state models and user stories.
Prototypes in Figma, reviewed with users, clients and engineers, then iterated.
Specs, acceptance criteria and components from the design system, through to release.
Tools. Figma, FigJam, Azure DevOps, and AI assistants for synthesis and documentation. The decisions stay mine.
designer noun“A person who imagines how something could be made and draws plans for it.”
I’m Matteo Maria Betto, a UX designer driven by curiosity and a strong interest in creating meaningful, user-centered experiences. My approach combines open-minded exploration with a clear, purpose-driven mindset, placing strong value on collaboration and shared outcomes.
As a jazz listener, I’m inspired by the idea of continuous dialogue between structure and expression, listening and response. I bring this mindset into my design process, where collaboration, feedback, and iteration play a central role in shaping effective solutions. Outside of design, I’m deeply interested in reading, geopolitics, technology, and sports, fields that continuously broaden my perspective.
Alongside UX design, I also work as a photographer, pursuing both disciplines with the same goal: creating thoughtful, intentional, and human experiences.
